Browsing the internet has become so terrifically dangerous lately. Can't click out of the main way without fear of discovering this sort of thing...

Just once I'd like to see someone with a passable amount of intelligence actually use it. This is why I don't read magazines.

Besides the fact that the articles themselves were hardly plausible even for a tabloid, the setup was terrible and ineffective. I don't think they could have accomplished a more boring and tasteless layout if they tried. It's pitiful. They were lacking photographs (which draw attention more than anything, as well as solidify the validity of the story, even if it isn't true) and...

I could go on, but I've not yet eaten. I'll likely take a pen to the damn thing afterwards and see if I can't make it better in theory.

Feeling: bitchy

Well. Trust for my Photoshop to crash just when I have a particularly novel idea. And rather than crash, I should really say decide to have three-headed kittens and not work properly without causing my entire unit to shut down. Peachy. There's some work to be done there.

... I can't believe how poorly my recent photographs have turned out. If I were the type to think such things, I might suggest that fate is hating me or that I'm experiencing a bout of bad luck. As it is, I believe I'm going to say I had poor subject matter (which is the honest truth; I never liked photographing people anyway) and need to lean towards the black and white for a while, preferably of anything outside the city.

So that leaves me lacking in the image modification, design and visual art in general. This appears to be a very good time to go practice, possibly the violin but more likely the piano.
